The in-person reactions from people I have spoken about my brand to have been ultimately positive and encouraging. I wish I could say the same for the responses on social media—most especially in connection to my Pride Collection.

For this blog post, I want to focus on something close to home. July is disability awareness month—a follow up at the heels of June being M.G. (Myasthenia Gravis) awareness month and May, Fibromyalgia awareness month. Awareness in general, all year round, is the important thing, but people like holidays—whether they involve calls to celebrate or to redirect focus, learn more, and act. Moreover, we’re all busy, so it helps sometimes to have the information central in front of us.
